sir, if there is any state college service commission, then they will be the responsible body for aided college's recruitments. Otherwise it will be organised by the college itself any body formed by the state gov.

State Service Commission for both aided and govt. colleges for any state.
इस प्रश्न का सही उत्तर तो उच्च शिक्षा निदेशालय तथा उच्च शिक्षा विभाग भी नहीं देना चाहता है क्योंकि इस पद के भर्ती चयन हेतु किसी भी संस्था को प्राधिकृत नहीं किया गया है इस पद पर चयन का अधिकार आज भी प्रबंध तंत्र के पास है वो पुराने नियमों के अनुसार 6500 वाले स्केल में भर्ती कर रहे हैं . बाद में सेटिंग से 8000 वाला स्केल करवा लिया जाता है.

In West Bengal, the State College Service Commission recruits Librarians for Aided Colleges.
The Candidatures have to clear the(a) UGC NET;(b)with at least 55% marks in M.lib.Sc. or 55% marks both in MA & B.Lib.Sc.as prerequisite qualifications.
This same norm is also applicable to Asst. Professors in Colleges.
Earlier however, the Individual Colleges used to recruit directly but the qualifications were the same.
The Committee used to be constituted with Principal of the College, Two Members of Governing Body of the College and an expert in Library Science Profession (mostly from Universities under which the Colleges used to belong)
