june -2014 UGC NET  LIS papers II and III very tuff compare to previous years

Day by day its going very tough better we have to study IGNOU MLIS and BLIS Books that will helpful for all.

Think the scheme of questioning may be changed to the earlier i.e., 3rd paper descriptive or may impose the negative marking. Anyhow, one thing is true, some changes will definitely occur from Dec., 2014 NET.

Could anyone please share such questions feeling tough?

very tough to thinking

over all it was tuff compare to previous years apaper

I gave from environmental science.......2nd was difficult.....and 3rd paperwas very difficult....out of 75 questions 21 tough numericalwere there....

I FEEL THAT SOME TOUGHNESS IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE DIGNITY NAD VALUE OF NET

More or less, it was hit and trial kind of paper set by examiner, not to test wisdom, only to confuse the students.

e.g. there was a ques about best method of teaching ?

Few may say that discussion is the best way as in case of literature or social sciences. But if we talk about  physics or chemistry  or medical sciences then demonstration is the only best option available, without which student can't be make to understand the concept clearly. So, this kind of question would not test the wisdom of the student rather he would get confused.

In June 2014 exam, most of the questions were of this kind.

Thank you Rajiv sir,

Confusing the candidates through question papers is quite common to the UGC in NET. Many have been facing such kind since a long time. In the final key, they will award the marks by considering the candidates appeal.

good............

ugc should maintain standard and quality

tuff as compare to previous questions,....... one thing i wanted to know is that why lislinks is not trying to put our subject in slet which is done for north eastern states.  it is of great advantage for us if the subject is in slet
