UGC or Other Norms for University Library Size

Dear Colleagues,

Just I need UGC or Other Norms for the Size of the University Library. As well, I like to know the norms for size of the Library for Institutions of Science and Humanities.ย

Dear Dr. S. Kannan

The MCI, PCI, AICTE have norms. Even the MCI has mentioned specifically the size of rooms, Reading halls (different for 100 & 150 intakes) Please go to their respective websites.

As far as I know, UGC has no such hard & fast rules & presumably that is why during NAAC visit, often the Colleges & Universities (Specially pvt.ones) fell in deep water!!
