http://marcedit.reeset.net/ is the site which offer software for conversion to marc. But your intermediary steps to be in correct format. Otherwise it will not be converted. I am also trying. If you succeed kindly share with me also.

Dear Mr. Abdul Gafoor, I have gone through your excel file. It is in good format, but it still lacks some essential MARC fields. These are :-

TITLE STATEMENT Statement of responsibility, etc --- 245 c

MAIN ENTRY Personal name ------ 100 a (this field should contain single author, but in yours some entries contain more than one author. And also personal name should contain comma between surname and forename.)

ADDED ENTRY Personal name ------ 700 a (Second and third author)

DEWEY DECIMAL CLASSIFICATION NUMBER Classification number ---- 082 a ( In yours it is call number. But it can be fixed. not a big problem)

Rest is fine. I can convert it into .mrc format but it is advised that first you fix above issues.

All the best.

Sir, whether it should be in excel format or in txt?

excel format.

thank you sir

i can do as directed
