Sir, I agree with u. Libraries have the great responsibility of sharing its valuable resources with the society or the community it serves. As ICT is overpowering libraries we the library professionals have to be well versed with all the new technologies and prove ourselves to the society that we are the best persons to retrieve, organize and disseminate the right information to the right person at the right time. I think we have to reach the society, find out their information needs and satisfy them by providing them what they require and then only we can prove ourselves and in turn promote libraries to the position they deserve in this age of information explosion.
