This is a great achievement for the library fraternity, particularly for the college cadre library professionals in U.P. Congratulations. Punjab College Librarians' Association feels that the ย efforts and labour put behind such acts are enormous and ย United Progressive Library Association deserves highest appreciation.

May I have the following information please,

1. Whether the order of state government are a direct outcome of the association's efforts?

2. Has the state govt. acted on any direction from the court ( High court or Supreme Court)?

If there are any court orders / court direction or review orders from the court kindly provide all the necessary details to pcla1977@gmail.com or rattanpardeep@gmail.com ย (petition nos./ petitioner name/ supreme court review/SLP no. if any ) so that the matter can be taken up with other state govts. by the library associations. Moreover it can also be taken up and publicise at ILA Conference at Punjab University Chandigarh.
