Hello Sir,

Can u provide Hindi version above books ?

Thanks sir,
For provide important book.

Salute to your effort.

Great effort ....to take library profession forward. Must read books every one should read these basic concepts.

Thanks a lot Sir for the link.

Unfortunately I have seen the above post by Dr N. K. Pachauri today (13/09/2015) only. Thanks for your appreciation.

But, I must put on record and clear that the development of the CBSE LIS Textbooks for Class XI and XII was carried over by a team lead by Professor P.B. Mangla, Former HOD & Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi. Other members of the Committee were Shri Kumar Sanjay, Chief Librarian cum-Documentation Officer, NITI Aayog, New Delhi, Dr. A.P. Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, BHU, Varanasi and Shri. Kripa Nand Jha, Sr. Lecturer, Department of Library and Information Science, MBIT, New Delhi. I was privileged enough to be one among them. Dr. B.N. Singh, Deputy Director/AL, CBSE, New Delhi was the Chief Coordinator and the man behind the project. He deserves great appreciation and acknowledgement from the entire LIS community.

Hope the inclusion of the subject in Higher Secondary level will definitely benefit the domain.

Thanks for your reply , I know about your efforts

sir uv done great job....kindly send G.O (Government Order) of introducing the LIS as a subject in KVS issued by government/KVS.  it is useful to introduce the LIS as a paper in CBCS (Choince Based Credit System) in State Universities in U.G level in Two ( I & II ) Semister. so, kindly attach the available government orders if possible......

Thanking u sir
