Dear Kutty Kumar ..!

I don't have any idea but you can use following website .

www-lib.nearnorthschools.ca/dewey/ddc.htm
Web Dewey is available for one month on trial basis

yes this is!

I don't think that there is any service like this which provide free online DDC number. But in many cases one can get the readymade DDC no. from the Library of Congress cataloguing service as well as from British Library by searching their catalogue and CIP.

www-lib.nearnorthschools.ca/dewey/ddc.htm

see above link

how to use this link

how can i get UDC for my exam of MLISc

Please see INFLIBNET website or the article by Jagdish Arora in the recent issue of University News.

The article New Initiatives of INFLIBNET for Higher Education Community by Arora & Prakash published in the joiurnal University News Vol. 49; No. 45 (November 07-10) 2011 pp.1-7 bears an information  about Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Search in page 7; column 1.

I am using this link http://classify.oclc.org/classify2/ for readymade DDC numbers. This saves lot of Librarian's time.
