Dear Mr. Chatterjee,

As I knew, Govt.s of Gujarat (the then B.J. Medical College) & Maharashtra approved UGC/Same Type pay Scales for Medical College Librarians. The Scale was at per with Govt. Officer Group A. In those days, the Scale was 2200-4000; then 8000- 13500;  & 15600 +GP 5400 (on the basis of 4th., 5th. & 6th. CPCs).

Since I left Medical Librarianship  more than 2 decades, I am "Off Track" at present. If you know Dr. Nitai C. Ghatak, you may contact him. I believe, he may be of help as he still is an active member of MLAI
