Hi friend
i think your qurey has cleared
I want some information from you
did you fill the form from lectureship with jrf mode
and you got secured marks only for lectureship not qualified jrf
but now ugc consider you for lectureship
how many presentage you have?
please sharing with me

Thanks & Regards
Digamar B Waghmare (NET Qualified)

yes....i applied for both jrf n lectureship.....am into management i gt a score of 70% but for jrf eligibility v needed 72%....so i guess if am applying next time, i need to apply for both as i guess thr is no option for jrf alone.

me also NET qualified

can i knw the JRF percentage pls.

for JRF in next time do i mark both Lectureship and JRF

is there any problem to write NET for Lectureship again?

please replay

Hi
you can apply for the JRF
Cut- Off for JRF
Library and Information GEN 70.86
Science OBC 67 70.
SC/ST 64.00
PWD 63.43

Criteria for Awarding Junior Research Fellowships
Out of the 43957 candidates qualified for Lectureship eligibility (including
JRF), 29780 candidates had applied for JRF, while the slots available for
JRF are 3200. These 3200 fellowships have to be distributed among the
29780 candidates who come under the consideration zone for JRF. In
order to restrict the number of JRF awardees to around 3200, a
methodology has been evolved for allocation of JRF slots among different
subjects category-wise.
i) The Commission provides fellowships to 3200 candidates for
each UGC-NET, as per the financial resources available under
the budgetary head.
ii) A minimum of 27%, 22.5% and 3% of Fellowships are reserved
for the OBC, SC/ST and Persons with disabilities (PWD)
respectively. Accordingly, the category-wise slots available are
as follows:
No. of Slots Available for JRF
GEN (Excl. PWD) 1520 47.50%
OBC (Excl. PWD) 864 27.00%
SC/ST (Excl. PWD) 720 22.50%
PWD 96 3.00%
TOTAL 3200
iii) The calculation is based on the ratio of number of candidates
who had opted for JRF and were qualified for lectureship
eligibility in each subject category-wise to the total number of
candidates qualified for lectureship who had opted for JRF in that
category over all subjects multiplied by the total number of
fellowships to be awarded to that category. The nearest whole
number obtained as per this formula provides the number of slots
available in any particular subject category-wise.
iv) By this method, if the number of JRF awardees obtained is less
than one, it is taken as one, i.e., a minimum of one JRF is
awarded wherever a fraction less than one is obtained as per the
calculation. However, for fractions greater than one, the figure is
rounded off to the nearest whole number.
v) The percentage of all the three papers corresponding to the
number of JRF awardees derived as per the previous paragraph,
is taken as the cut-off percentage for awarding JRF for a
particular subject category-wise.

SUBJECT-WISE CUM CATEGORY-WISE JRF CUT-OFFS
& ALLOCATION OF SLOTS
Total Number of Candidates in Consideration Zone for JRF
Category Number Percentage
GEN 9603 32.25
OBC 11310 37.98
SC/ST 7924 26.61
PWD 943 3.17
TOTAL 29780 100.00

thr is no slot for jrf alone so v need to apply for both and as Mr.Pawan Kumar has said ur net qualification wnt get cancelled if u apply again......mine is mgt so jrf percentage ws 72%
