Encylcopaedia of Library & Information Science

Dear Freinds,

Please suggest me a standard Encyclopdia of Library and Information Science for preparation of the competitive examination / NET exam in this field. Is any Glossary of the subject can solve the purpose? Advise me.

a standard encyclopedia is very much expensive.

You are preparing for competitive examinations such as NET/SLET and others. You should be consult textbooks and others study materials i.e. IGNOU Booklet etc .Encyclopedia is a reference book it covers broad knowledge of information as regards subject matters of library and information science.

You can easily get the ODLIS IN Google search and ANE,s Encyclopedia of LIS by Amjad Ali will be the Best. ODLIS IS ONLINE free But ANE,s u have to purchase. Click here for ODLIS

Basically i need a ref book as helping guide for the terminology of LIS to mk easy  to understand the subject whenever we go throgh any topic of LIS. Dats why I need a standard Glossary or Encyclopedia which can i avail in my home.
