I think, you should attend different refresher courses, orientation courses, seminars and workshops which are conducted by different universities and organizations.

Be staty with social network especialy-lislinks.Always discussed with online friends regarding the Latest in LIS..Visit Emerald database for journals in LIS..Try to attend workshop,seminar and confernce.
