Is BLIS Degree Equivalent to Diploma in Library Science for NIFT Recruitment

NIFT released new notification for the post of library assistant, in the notification the essential qualification required is Degree+ Diploma in library science, so can a BLIS graduate can apply against this post

Yes.. You Can.... Apply... If you have BLIS  degree no need to confuse with Diploma...

But kindly check point (iii)

If huge number of applications are  received, Organisation have to shortlist with that third (iii) point as per notification.

its depend on the dept. policy.we already qualify ,this type of post.after all process requirement body reject our candidature due to. niymavali.they cant take higher qualify  candidate, case is also in high court from last 3 years.
