1. SET is eligible for Particular State but Net is eligible for All over India like Any State in India.
2. In the Regarding University Interview for Considered for the Different point to SET and NET like

3.just simply SET has conducted state level but NET has conducted for UGC Level that is different .

Karnataka SET and UGC NET are same but different. If we talk about the recruitment both the exam is for the Lectureship and Professorship recruitment. While the Karnataka CET is only for the recruitment in the state. UGC NET Exam is for the Universities and Colleges of whole India and States.ย
The UGC NETย Exam is conducted in the month of June and December while the dates for June 2018 is out the exam is on 17th July 2018.
The NET Exam is considered higher value as compared to the Karnataka CET. The Students from All over India take part in UGC NET Exam While in Karnataka CET only students from Karnataka take part usuallyย
