NAGPUR: The Nagpur bench of the Bombay high court served notices to secretary of union human resources development ministry and chairman ofUniversity Grants Commission (UGC) in response to a petition filed by Ganesh Gadekar and 12 other students of Nagpur, Wardha and Yavatmal districts.

The petitioners challenged the change in eligibility criteria for NET/JRF examinations after the exams were conducted in June 2012. The court had asked respondents to preserve the OMR sheets of the petitioners.

The petitioners claimed that they met the eligibility requirements for the said exam as fixed by the UGC but latest changes would render them ineligible for the same. They asserted that the authorities didn't declare the criteria for NET examination in advance before holding it which is illegal and unjustified on their part.

Even after securing more than the minimum percent of marks in all the three papers, the petitioners were not declared successful and they allege that this act is malafide, arbitrary and demonstrates illegitimate exercise of power.

please popularize this in e-media

Dear sir

The injustice done by UGC which is the highest body of  education to candidate of june 2012 for the eligibility criteria after declaration of result and they have made cut of mark according to their own way avoiding inequality of all subject and category .It is seen that in few subject the general category have got 56% and passed but in other subject they have got 62% but not qualified. Like also in Reserved category also. So the anomalies of the result confused the candidate and majority student deprived for qualified in the UGC NET June 2012. This matter should be in the media also for further explanation.

Its not a matter for popular, just get rights from right ways

try ur level best for good result soon
