PhD course work relaxation norms

I have done MPhil in library and Information Science and passed UGC NET. Is it necessary for me to join course work for PhD?

Yes you can be exempted from Course work, like Bharthiar University is exempted course work for MPhil candidates. Check this link http://www.b-u.ac.in/download/catb/regulation_catb_revised.pdf
