I am working in an engineering College. This Year for the first time in our college I am going to organise  a library orientation programme for both the students as well as for the faculties. So, can any body help me by providing some ppt so that I can have some idea.

Thank you sir

Thank you Meher Sir for the presentation.

Good query Krishna Das.. Thank you...

I have gone through the PPT, in my humble opinion, the stuff could be greatly improved by

1) Adding a content on user education on the usage of the reference resources of the library - Dictionaries, Directories, Encyclopaedia.  How to search for the required information from these resources.  Evaluation of these resources - not blindly accept whatever information they come across from whatever sources.

2) What are Fair practices in the library

3) Awareness about Plagiarism

4) How to cite articles (journal or book or whatever) i.e, citation styles

5) Taking the users on a tour to the different sections of the library.

Request other knowledgeable members to better this.

Thanks
