cat-gen

My Score is

Paper 1 = 30

Paper 2 = 30

Paper 3 = 41

From General Category

My Scores according to the Answer Keys provided are as below:

Paper            No.of correct question                    Obtained Marks

1st                           29                                      29X2=58

2nd                          31                                      31X2=62

3rd                           41                                      41X2=82

Total Score               101                                   101X2=202

Category --------  GEN

HIMACHAL PRADESH

My scores-

Paper 1= 33(66%)

Paper 2= 37(74%)

Paper 3= 44(58.66%)

Here i would like to clear one thing that most of my friends are confused about calculating the percentage of marks of third paper. They are calculating it out of 50 questions, while the number of questions were 75. So according to me the formula of calculation is-

                                            no. of questions correct*100/75.

                                                             OR

                                       no. of marks*100/Total marks

(Here each question was of 2 marks and Total marks were 150. So suppose if you have 45 correct questions then your calculation will be-

(45*2)*100/150

=90*100/150

=9000/150

=60%

Ist paper-44 (22), IInd Paper-58 (29), IIIrd Paper-88 (44), SC candidate

paper - I  32 Q correct 64

Paper - II 30 Q Correct 60

Paper -II  44 Q Correct 88

Total - 212
