Which network in India provided the first e-mail service in the country? 

Confusion in DELNET or ERNET 

Which one is correct? 

please help me to get rid of this confusion.

It's Ernet

As per my knowledge, DELNET provides Email service, especially the RENNIC Email facility, at Rs. 2750/- per year through the National Information Centre (NIC) way back in 1991. So, DELNET might be the answer.

I read anywhere about ERNET
