I think there is no problem with the link. Even the article is attach with the discussion. You can download it from here.

Dear Friends,

The paper on classification using web tools is quite interesting and highly useful for learners in classification. Of course, doing classification on our own subject analysis gives us immense satisfaction. Any how this attempt using the web is useful for smaller libraries who cannot afford the cost of DDC.

Thank you.

congratulation Badan. Nice job. It definitely help others. carry on...

I hope so.

Thanks a lot for providing a wonderful article.

Dear Dr. Barman

This is a nice informative article. In fact I use Classify a lot to do the classification. Similarly Indicat helps a lot even to download records.

This may be interesting to have:

http://www.questionpoint.org/crs/html/help/sl/ask/ask_map_ddctolcc....

which will map LC to DDC

http://www-lib.nearnorthschools.ca/dewey/ddc.htm

for Dewey Schedules to some extent.

Rao

Dear Rao,

I am very much aware of the above two resources. But thank you for posting it here. I hope others will be benefited from these links. I already wrote about these tools in the my book on Library Management.
