ABSTRACT: There is very few literature relevant to this topic. This book is a comprehensive and methodological analysis of organization and management of electronic media libraries. The primary aim of the book is to examine, observe and analysis different managerial and preservation techniques adopted by electronic media libraries as well as to find out their problems in this regards. This book also highlights different forms of AV materials used in electronic media libraries along with photographs. Use of CDS/ISIS library software package in data management by the private satellite TV channel libraries of Guwahati is very nicely discussed along with a suitable example. Due to its unique subject matter and universally applicable outcomes, it has the potential of international relevance and universal acceptance. Hence, this book is an essential reading for Library and Information Science(LIS) community across the globe.
