First library school was started in 1887 by Melvil Dewey at columbia

The worlds first library is "Library of Alexandria" in Alexandria Egypt.

Nirmala Ji,Theย Library of Alexandria, inย Egypt, was the largest and most significantย great library of the ancient world.I think the first Libraries existed are the Temple Rooms of Sumer dating back to 2600 BC.
