UGC is related with Scales & Qualifications of teachers, Librarains & physical education teacher of colleges, but service conditions are decided by state (it is a subject of state government) and it will be diffent state to state
Library cadre is Non Vocational Academic Staff.
No vacation [Summer Vac, winter break]
In Arunachal Pradesh College Library Professional are considered as vacational Staff
In west bengal, Teacher is also non vocational staff as per rule but they are enjoying summer recess.

There are no certain rules followed by each and every institutions . It varied place to place and institution to institutions. No one fellowed the norms which was set by UGC , NCET, etc.
I think we all the professional(librarian) to give the memorandum to central and state also. We must form an organization . Under this organization we can start a movement for betterment of all workin and non- working hands.

ya i am also agree with shekhar that we all should try to make a coman rule for all over indai for librarians.
Librarian is equal to Lecturer then why not we clear our vacation rule.
I ALSO JOINT THE FORUM ACCORDING (SHEKAR, FROM PATNA) STATEMENT. WE ACTUALLY ASSISTANT PROFESSOR CADRE SO LIBRARIAN ALSO GET VOCATION UNDER SUM LIMITATIONS.
I m Also Agree to Shekhar.It is necessary to take a step for our rights.We all face the same problem.

I agree.with Shekhar . When all Librarians and Library Professional staff require winter & summer vocation are facing the same problem .
