What are ICT based conventional LIS Services? How these have benefited from ICT?

New generation has witnessed the creation of teaching and rendering services beyond imagination. The computer has made it possible to have digital presentation of information and increased the working capacity of library Science (LIS) services. The implementation of IT in various activities of libraries has revolutionized the transfer and sharing of information to its users. It has also changed the definition of Library Science Professionals. Let,s discuss how conventional LIS services viz. OPAC, User Inf. Service, Reference Service, Document Delivery Service, Inter Library Loan, Audio-Visual Service, Customer Relations and User Educaton  etc. have benefited from ICT. Please discuss...................
