Still i am confused, Why we celebrate the Librarians Day on 12th of August while Father of Indian Librarianship Dr. Sr. Ranganathan Born on Dated 9Th August 1892. Please Help Us and explain Solid Cause

because officialy (paper date )date of is 12 aug hai, so it is celebrate on  this day

because father of library Dr.S.R.Ranganathan original date of birth is August 12th, but as per 10th certificate August 9th that is the main reason as per my idea. So we are celebrating on Aug'12th Original date of birth

Actually, the original date of birth is 9 Aug 1892. In official records, it has been shown as 12 Aug 1892. So the suggestion was made officially that the official date 12 August should be celebrated as Librarians' day. As this has been accepted by all concerned, we are celebrating 12 August every year as LIBRARIANS' DAY
