Requirement of NET or KSET for Aided Degree College

Is NET or KSET necessary to be appointed in Aided Degree Colleges for the post of a Librarian?

Is there any document published by the UGC to support the information?

Yes, itโ€™s mandatory to appoint as a librarian at aided degree colleges, because college should follow the UGC norms.

If you are appointed from Management and your salary is paid by management, then NET/SLET is not mandatory.
