After 5 year you will be eligible for Technical Officer 'A' post will face the assessment (60% promotion chances) if you get through then ok otherwise next year you will go for same assessment (interview) till you get promotion.

STA 'B' 9300-34800, 4200 GP

TO 'A' 9300-34800, 4600 GP (60% promotion)

TO 'B' 15600-39100, 5400 GP (35% promotion)

TO 'C' 15600-39100, 6600 GP (30% promotion)

TO 'D' 15600-39100, 7600 GP (20% promotion)

then after each promotion a residency period of 5 years for next promotion.

50 marks questions are from General Awareness(Current and G.K i.e history geography etc but major portion from Current) Maths i.e quantitative aptitude  and simple reasoning .Apart from this the syllabus of  100 questions of library science is of b.lib level some questions say 5 - 8 are of m .lib level time is sufficient or say more than sufficient
