I am sorry, but in my view nothing can be done. Its your duty to do the same in the examination hall itself, again it is the duty of the invigilator to check it and then only put his/her signature on it. If both of you failed to do the same in the exam hall, now nothing can be done.

However if you wrote the number in OMR sheet correctly and only forgot to dark the circle then computer will be able to recognize your sheet correctly.

Respected Badan Barman sir,

same thing happened to me in SET exam that I didn't put signature in OMR sheet in the morning session  and I come across to know when I was signing for paper-iii, but I had shaded roll no. etc correctly. The invigilator told me that attendance slip is there for proof for three papers(i,ii,iii.).I don't know whether computer will accept or not .Kindly give your suggestion regarding this matter.

with regards,

A.Mala

Dont worry. Signature is not that much important. Your paper will be evaluated by the computer system.

Respected Badan Barman sir,

You are absolutely right sir..that"Signature is not that much important." yes , I have qualified SET 2012 BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY.

With regards,

A.Mala

Mala Madam, Nothing to worry. I too face the same once. Signature box reading is not the job of the Scanner which evaluates our answered OMR sheets. It reads only the darkened boxes. So, your answer sheet will be valued. Wish you good luck.

Dear Badan Barman sir and Srinivas Garimella sir,

Thank both of you for clarifying my doubt .

with regards,

A.Mala

Dear Deepak,

don't worry ugc net consider for the mistakes in the code was not darken in the previous june 2012 were considered

dont worry

computer will read ur number

no problem sir, ugc will consider ur answer, it is computerised system bo question ke base par code khud set kar leta, last june2012 main, one of my friend forget same but his result shows his passing nos. so best of luck. may god will help u.

no u are absolutely wrong. if he not mentioned his code number then how ugc know that weather this is wxyz. because all questions are 60 and there not mentioned questioned only answer is there. ok. code set karne ke liye sabhi question vaha chahiye vaha sirf answer hai. question nahee. so he want to inform to ugc his code number.

same thing happend with my friend in June  exam n his answer sheet was checked by UGC bt not with right code, thats why he was failed in 1st paper

Dont worry your paper wud b evaluated.i have mistaken several times stil my papers were evaluated.
