Hello ...........to all LIS Professionals .

I need the information on Universities which provide Phd through distance education . I am MLIS student and in future i want to do the Ph d in Library and Information Science.

ย 

Pls help me to find out the best and reliable university.

no university offer ph.d. through distance education

According to UGC(Minimum Standard and Procedure for Awards of M.Phil and Ph.d dgree), Regulation 2009, no University, Institution,Deemed University have conduct M.Phil and Ph.D through distance mode.

u can do from pvt universities like singhania, dravidian etc. but your own risk. some scholars under me registered in these universities if u wish its your chice but i suggest u from regular university

Dear Sir, Dr. Prabhat pandey

You said, your own risk, risk in what way? Is these kind of phd s were standard, valuableย and will helpful in future in our professional career? Because I too want to be register phd through part time mode. If your option is regular, which university is better in Andhrapradesh or Karnataka? and any approved guide will help us.
