Suppose, in a big Hotel receiptionist are an important lanmark of the Hotel, also Library will keep careful hospitally services,receiptionist services, cabin crew services to the users are nessesary, Do you follow this ?

Now day’s information society the role of librarian is very dynamic. The increasing role of technology in libraries has a significant impact on the changing roles of librarians. The librarian plays a vital role in information handling and information transfer. He is rightly known as information officer and is supposed to provide an active service for maximum use of information with minimum cost and time. An information officer or librarian is known by his behavior and capabilities of providing right information to right user at right time. The role of librarian an information officer changes with the change in the needs of society of the users. The infinite, continuous, multidimentional and multi faceted growth of information on other hand have posed great challenges to librarian as an information officer for satisfying the demands of specific information to the users.
