KVS Librarian is Not a Good Choice
It is my sincere advise to young aspirants who trying to apply for KVS Librarian, if you are talented your prosperity will be nil in this organisation, only harassment, transfer and ego of authorities will spoil your personal life. You are naturally a talented when you are qualifying a national level written test. So think twice, once you trapped here you can't came out.

I hv written many times to ILA GS/President, even i m in receipt of their letters, nobody interest to take school lib issue, ILA only confine into university/college big institution libraries, they never focus on school lib

I was selected for KV in 2003. I was posted in Assam Tinsukia (Dibrugarh Region). The place was not suitable for Hindi speaking community at that time. However, the authority was form South India and they were harassing teachers and librarians without extending their support for those who were performing their duties in such a difficult situation. If you agree to perform duties in such a though condition, why the authorities of KV not support the efforts of people. One more thing I want to share that five or six librarians from Assam were posted in Delhi, Haryana and UP region and they were also not satisfied with their first postings. This type of problem exist is KV at a large scale. I had to left my job in just six month. Now I am at a better position as compare to KV but I feel bad when I remember that experience. ultimately I had got KV position after a hard work.

I am totally agree with Rajendra Ji,,,,,,I have been a school librarian in govt school and served 22 years, but after serving with full dedication and sincerity what i got, only mental harassment, nothing else. I am agree with this statement that if you have cleared net or any other similar exam than dont go fr any school job , specially in govt school. during service its not easy to switch over to any other job due to multiple departmental formalities. so it is better to think twice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Who care NET or PHD initially private organizations will keep you good later when u become aged then suddenly they say go what is your position ? and more youngsters more qualified than you comes means again you have to update the latest developments like a kid is it possible in that age? so please dont discourage others if u feel burden why u ppl continuing there?

i dont no what is the dutis of kvs but in india govt jobs in library sector is very less now kvs notification has released , i think it is big notification for librarians , give me answer to my question that is where is releasable job for librarians. now way less jobs in govt sectorr but you are telling dont choose kvs jobs why you are telling.

please telling harassment what type of harassment you are facing ,some places it is true but every where it is not true ,so don't discourage ,is there no harassment in private sector.tell me the answer
