Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to submit the original manuscript for possible inclusion in the proposed special issue of the DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology (DJLIT) on Digital Humanities and Librarianship.

 Sub-Theme:

  • Methodology and theory on digital humanities research and education
  • Best practices including landscapes, infrastructures and methodological innovations in digital humanities
  • Ethics in digital humanities
  • Digital scholarship and digital humanities
  • Digital humanities and pedagogy
  • Growth and development of digital humanities
  • Datamining, text mining and big data analysis related to digital humanities
  • Engagement of public policy and governance in digital humanities and society
  • Critical and theoretical perspectives on digitized material, including participation, crowdsourcing, and citizen science for human development
  • Data and metadata for digital arts and humanities
  • Open data and knowledge services in digital humanities

 The authors can submit a full paper as per the journal’s guidelines to DJLIT online journal system available at https://publications.drdo.gov.in/ojs/index.php/djlit/index under the category Special Issue on “Digital Humanities and Librarianship”
