Guidance for Setting up a Central Library

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am currently working in the Health Department, Haryana, as a librarian on a contractual basis at the State Training Institute. Our DGHS Haryana has planned to establish a central library for the Civil Hospital, Haryana. I seek your guidance on the various aspects of this initiative, including:

The ideal area required for setting up the library.

The estimated funds needed for the infrastructure and resources.

Necessary infrastructure and furniture.

Any other essential requirements for establishing and maintaining a functional library.

Your advice on these matters will be highly appreciated.
