Call for Nominations – ICIDTAL 2025 Awards

Dear Library Professional Colleagues,

Dr. O. P. Bhalla Central Library, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad, in association with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), National Digital Library of India (NDLI), Delhi Library Association (DLA) & Haryana Library Association (HLA), is organizing an International Conference on “Innovative and Digital Transformation in Academic Libraries” (ICIDTAL) on 27th-28th May 2025 at MRIIRS, Faridabad, Haryana.

To recognize and honor professionals who have made significant contributions to the Library and Information Science (LIS) profession, the Organizing Committee has introduced several awards:

Awards Categories:
1. Best Paper Award
2. Vishwa Laxmi Best Librarian Award
3. Dr. H Anil Kumar Best Practicing Librarian Award
4. Lifetime Achievement Award
5. Distinguished LIS Teacher Award
6. Best Practicing Librarian Award
7. Best Practicing College Librarian Award
8. Best Practicing University Librarian Award
9. Best Practicing School Librarian Award
10. Outstanding Innovation Award

Call for Nominations:
We invite nominations/applications for the above awards for the year 2024.

Eligibility & Submission Guidelines:
=> Applicants must submit their Biodata, highlighting their contributions and achievements in the LIS profession.
=> Contributions made in their respective libraries should be clearly documented and submitted separately.
=> Applicants must register themselves as "Indian Delegates" by paying the specified fees. The application without registration will not be considered. Applicants can present their paper under this registration and do not need to pay any additional fee.
=> The last date for submission is 15th April 2025.

Selection Process & Award Presentation:
=> The Award Committee of the conference will review all applications and make the final selection.
=> The committee reserves the right to select or not select any nominee and may also nominate candidates who have not applied.
=> Award winners must register for the conference, attend the ceremony, and accept the award in person.
=> The awards will be presented during ICIDTAL 2025 on 27th-28th May 2025 at MRIIRS, Faridabad, Haryana.
