The School of Library & Information Science, in collaboration with CIQA, Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Uttarakhand is organizing a one-week FDP programme on "Empowering Research: Libraries and Advanced Tools for Research" in hybrid mode (online and offline) from 24th March to 29th March 2025.

The School of Library & Information Science, Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Haldwani, in collaboration with CIQA, is pleased to announce a One-Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Empowering Research: Libraries and Advanced Tools for Research", scheduled from 24th – 29th March 2025 in hybrid mode (online & offline).

This FDP aims to equip Faculty members, librarians, researchers, Ph.D. scholars, and IT professionals with essential skills in Advanced Research Tools, Citation Management, Plagiarism Detection, Bibliometric Analysis, Systematic reviews, and AI-based Technologies in Libraries.

A special highlight of the programme will be hands-on workshops on Biblioshiny (R Package), Scopus, Web of Science, and AI-driven Research Tools, providing practical exposure to participants.

The valedictory session on March 29, 2025, will include an expert panel discussion on the future of digital Libraries, followed by a Performance by BLIS learners and a Comprehensive FDP report presentation. The programme is expected to contribute significantly to academic and research excellence by equipping participants with the latest tools and best practices.
