i agree tht condition of library professional is not so good bt if we taken job of another field thn wht is the advantage of course done by us and one thng more our experience gap can also increase in library field .so i am not agree tht we take job in other field.

Buttttttttttttttt........For how much years we have to wait for better job in LIS.....I have worked as a School librarian for 9+ years....everyone of staff n management thinks that....LIBRARIAN IS NOT DOING ANYTHING ....HE IS GETTING SALARY FOR NO WORK......kaash HAM BHI LIBRARIAN HOTE   ......BUT THE REALITY IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT....WE HAVE TO TEACH....WE HAVE TO DO OTHER WORK WITH LIBRARY WORK.....ON LESSER SALARY......FROM THOSE WHO R LESSER QUALIFIED N LESSER QUALITY HOLDERS......AKHIR KAB TAK ......HAM CHUP CHAP DEKHTE RAHENGE.....I COULD SURVIVED BECAUSE I INCREASED MY QUALIFICATION EVERY YEAR THROUGH DISTANCE.....AND ONE MORE THING EVERY DISTANCE STUDANT IS NOT BAD....AS WELL AS EVERY REGULAR STUDENT IS NOT GOOD.....but it is the reality that many times distance students  r discriminated......I have also suffered.....I could have get job in KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA..... I had to give argument to.the interviewer......BECAUSE ALL OF MY DEGREES ARE FROM DISTANCE......He was forced to take interview....the interview was also good....But I could get job......ITNI MEHNAT AGAR TEACHING MEIN KI HOTI TO AAJ PGT HOTE.....

  yes , i am also face same problem   .

i have 7 years experience but  salary no increase ing 

 

aj  bhi utni hi salary hai jitani aj se 5 year pahale thi  institute salary incres nahi karate kyoki unhe esse kum me employe mil jate hai
