dear mam....

you may use a simple register with amount column for use it.

Dear sir,

Register we are maintaining. But what Iam asking is that whether tese records are needed for AICTE NORMS or inspection?

Thanks& regards,

A.Mala

as per my information

There is no need to maintaining the records of reprographic service for AICTE Inspection I think AICTE committee visit only one time at the time of establish of the institute

that time college will not open so how can we keep records

if AICTE committee surprise visit or LIC Committee, University Committee, Government committee etc

there is need & you should keep record for not only committee but

it is essential service of library & we should keep record of it

so there is  need to keep record............

Thanks & Regards

Respected sir,

Thank you very much for kind reply.....

With regards,

There is no need of maintaining record for AICTE, Thew will only check weather xerox facility is available in the library,If u are going for ISO and NAAC Accredition u should have the records

Dear sir

thank you for your kind reply

I feel maintaing a record helps in several ways.
- serves as a log for usage of service
- log for usage of consumables,
And more importantly, if you note the title and other bibliographic
Details of the reprographic job (example: title of a jl. Article, other details, including the name of journal), it helps to decide on the journal
Usage/popularity, productivity of the journal etc.

Good luck.

Ravindranath

Only xerox service is mandatory,

keep usual procedures like registers.

Dear sir,

Thank you very much for your useful information.Noval idea......

Thanks & regards,

A.Mala

Dear sir

hello mem,

It is not necessary to maintain record for  reprographic service by the Librarian , but in the means time

you may use a simple register with  column having , with amount/Rs ,Roll no, nos of copies   and  signature for the users for use it.
