The *Resource Centre, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai* invites applications for the engagement of *Two Resource Centre Trainees* for a period of *one year*.
This opportunity is designed for young Library & Information Science professionals who wish to gain hands-on experience in managing modern academic library services and information resources in one of India's premier institutions for design, management, and technology.
🔹 *Position:* Resource Centre Trainee (02 Nos.)
🔹 *Location:* NIFT Chennai
🔹 *Stipend:* ₹25,000 per month (Consolidated)
🔹 *Qualification:* Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
🔹 *Preferred Skills:* Knowledge of library automation software (Koha, E-Granthalaya, Libsys, etc.) and institutional repository platforms (DSpace, EPrints, etc.)
🔹 *Eligibility:* Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
🔹 *Maximum Age:* 28 years (as on the closing date of application)
📅 *Last Date for Submission of Applications:* 03 July 2026
📅 *Skill Test & Personal Interview:* 17 July 2026
