Library Trainee
Applications are invited for engagement of One Resource Centre Trainee at the NIFT Resource Centre, Chennai Campus.
Period of engagement:
The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for one year and not against short-term employment policy of NIFT. The trainee will not have any right to claim NIFT benefit and employment.
Consolidated Stipend:
Rs.15,000/- per month.
Number of Trainees to be engaged: 01 (One)
Selection:
Selection of the Resource Centre Trainee will be based on their performance in the personal /walk-in interview.
Eligibility Conditions for NIFT Resource Centre Trainee:
Minimum Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent from a recognized university/Institute in India.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of any library software (E-granthalaya, Koha, Libsys, etc.)and institutional repository software (DSpace, Eprints, etc).
Experience:
Only Fresh Graduates can apply. (through regular mode only)
Age: Below 30 years.
Termination:
NIFT reserves the right to terminate the services of Resource Centre Trainee without assigning any reasons.
