I want to use KOHA software in my library. How can I download and install KOHA software and what is the pre-requirement for down loading it. Is there any need to take training for it.

Dear sir,

Recently i am using windows7 in my Library. Which operating system is best as well as easy  to run Khoha in your view. Are you using koha in your Library ?

Koha can not be installed in Windows Platform

Dear Pankaj Gupta

Koha can not be installed in windows.

you must use Linux (Ubuntu / Debian)

Install Ubuntu 14.04 at your PC and then follow steps:

Dear,
Could some one tell me where can i get training for downloading and installation of KOHA in Delhi NCR.

NISCAIR

Dear Pankaj,

you can try this link   https://sourceforge.net/projects/vkmkoha/ downloading Koha Live DVD ( Installation of Koha and Ubuntu OS ) Latest Version, for installation and model settings you can browse you tube or u can get pdf files,

http://www.koha.librarianguide.co.in/  - in this link you will get video demo .....

Regards ,

Ganesha

Dear Sir, Pankaj

Your question is basic(right) but very complicated. I would recommend you to follow the lectures of SPOKEN TUTORIALS - Koha installation on Linux at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mORxmDZ3OhI

Your query will be answered correctly. If you need any clarification in that or any assistance in operational activties I would be happier to proceed with you further.

Thank you.
