As far as I know, it is open source software developed for the use libraries. This software developed at the initiative of Kesavan Institute of Information and Knowledge Management (KIIKM). I have been using it for the past 3 years without any cost. Until last year Verus Solutions was charging 10 to 15 thousands for Annual Maintenance if required. I think they have changed the policy now.
If they say it is free, it has to be free.
