Event Description
As a consequence of advances in ICT, libraries are changing rapidly. The library industry is now practically a web- based industry. In the meantime, the library and information science communities are on duty to meet their knowledge and information needs by using their mobile devices, which are serviced by commercial firms. Their goal should be to ensure that knowledge is accessible, free, and equitably preserved, as well as our cultural and scientific heritage is preserved. By providing a global perspective on Information Professionals in India, this international event aims to provide a forum for knowledge and skill exchange. I t will also provide a platform for presenting innovative plans, debating classic as well as new ideas, and facilitating close collaboration among participants from diverse backgrounds. Among the topics of interest will be high- quality research papers and a discussion forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners of Innovative Library & Information Services.
