Vacancies for the post of Library Trainee in Vikram Sarabhai Library at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad
Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is in the process of
hiring Library Trainees.
Eligibility Criteria
โข Masterโs in library and information science (MLISc) with First class.
โข Only Fresh Post-Graduate in Library and Information Science (MLISc) are eligible to apply.
Desirable Criteria
โข Good communication skills in English, strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
โข Basic working knowledge of IT and IT applications related to libraries.
Remuneration : Rs. 26,614/- CTC per month
Age Limit : 26 years

Candidates who receive an e-mail confirmation will have to appear for an online written test
(date and time will be announced via e-mail to selected candidates).
Note:
โข The examination (written test) will be conducted online only. The details for the same will be shared
via e-mail.
โข The participants need a desktop/laptop or smartphone with a good internet connection for
the test.
โข The selection of the candidate will be based on a written test followed by a personal interview.
โข The format of the test and interview will be conducted in English.
โข The selected candidates are expected to work six days a week.
โข The Trainees may be allotted shift duty and may have to work on public holidays, too.
โข The duration of the training will be for 1 year initially, renewal will be subject to performance
evaluation of the candidate.
โข A certificate of experience will be issued to those who complete at least six months of training.
โข The selected candidate will be hired on third party payroll.
