Graduate Apprentices In Library & Information Science Under NATS of Ministry of Education, Government of India

Tagore Central Library of HBTU (Harcourt Butler Technical University) Kanpur is required suitable Apprentice Trainees in the field of Library & Information Science Under NATS to help the library in its day-to-day work.

Qualification : Bachelor of Library & Information Science with 60% marks or its equivalent.

Reservation & relaxation criteria are as NATS rules.ย 

Desirable : Computer Knowledge

Training Period : One Yearย 

Stipend : 9000/- Per month

Place of Work: Tagore Central Library, HBTU, Kanpur

Job Responsibilities

The objective of the training program is to develop knowledge and skills in the principles,ย practices, and techniques of library science. The trainees are required to perform various library tasks under the supervision of senior and experienced professionals, in shift andย round-the-clock duty.

Procedure for apply: Online Registration through NATS Portal.

Candidate will need to apply online through Establishment (NATS) National Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The apprenticeshipโ€™s tenure is for 12 months, from the joining date.
    โ€ข Apprenticeship is purely temporary and will not be regularized for a permanent position after the completion of training.
    โ€ข Any change in stipend by NATS shall be applicable only after approval of the competent authority.
    โ€ข No accommodation will be provided by the Institute during the training period.
    โ€ข All candidates applied before the advertisement till the last date will be considered.
    โ€ข Candidate should not have undergone training under the Apprentice Act 1961 previously.
