We are seeking a motivated and experienced Librarian to manage our library operations and services. The successful candidate will oversee the organization, maintenance, and development of library resources, ensuring a conducive environment for research and learning. This role includes providing expert guidance to users, managing digital and physical collections, and collaborating with academic departments.

Key Responsibilities:
=> Library Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations including cataloguing, circulation, and reference services.
=> Collection Management: Develop, acquire, and maintain a diverse collection of print and digital resources, including books, periodicals, and multimedia.
=> User Support: Assist students, faculty, and staff in accessing library resources and research support, including conducting orientations and training sessions.
=> Policy Development: Develop and update library policies, procedures, and regulations to meet academic standards and evolving user needs.
=> Digital Resources: Manage and maintain digital library services, including online catalogs and electronic resource subscriptions.
=> Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments to support curriculum needs, research initiatives, and interdepartmental projects.
=> Program Coordination: Organize library programs, workshops, and events to promote literacy, research skills, and the effective use of library resources.
=> Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and library databases, ensuring timely updates and compliance with standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
=> Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field from a recognized institution.
=> Demonstrated experience in managing library operations, preferably in an academic setting.
=> Strong knowledge of cataloguing, reference services, and digital library management systems.
=> Proficiency in library management software and information technology.
=> Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
