Vacancy for Library Attendant
JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has been set up under Rajasthan Private Universities Act by "Lakshmipat Singhania Foundation for Higher Learning" an SPV set up by the well-established Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation. Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is heart of the University and acts as a center for the collection of literature predominantly related to Management, Engineering and its allied subjects and develops a comprehensive collection of information that is useful for teaching, research and reference purposes. It is managed by the KOHA software integrated with ERP system of the University.
Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is in the process of hiring Library Attendant.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Graduation with: C.Lib/D.Lib/B.Lib
Additional Qualifications:
1. Experience of having worked in some library with good Handwriting
2. Basic Computer Knowledge
3. Good communication skills in English and Hindi (written and oral
Nature of Work: The attendant will be provided with the opportunity to work in various sections of the library and learn about the modern library management system. The LRC will provide a highly professional work and learning environment.
Age limit: Below 40 years:
Stipend: Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month (Depending on Knowledge & experience)
No. of vacancies: 2
The selected candidate will be required to work five days a week and be prepared to work in different shifts and on weekends on a rotational basis.
The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination/personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview. No TA/DA will be payable to candidates for appearing in the written examination/interview.
