i am facing some problems related to my work and need your help.
I am danish fatma.I have done MLIS and currently working with AICTE approved engineering college, having collection of 17000 books with no proper previous records.
Apart from this i have done the entry of 8000 books in an accession register with no departmental bifurcation.Now i have been told by the director to do the accessioning work department wise, because he is telling that he has to send the last three pages of accession register of each department to the AICTE.
sir, can u plz guide me that wheather this is the right procedure to maintaing the accession register department wise.
i want to know whether seperate accession register should be maintained for each department or their should be single register for the whole library collection.
what should be the first step and the consequtive steps to be taken while taking the charge of library.
sir, can u plz send me the details of the library which has to be send to the AICTE by the college.
