National Level Online Seminar

on

Stress and Stress Management for College Students

         

                 Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri, affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, through its Department of Library is organizing a National Level Online Seminar on “Stress and Stress Management for College Students.”

                The seminar is designed to create awareness about stress and its significant impact on the academic, emotional, and personal lives of students and academicians. It aims to provide practical insights and effective coping strategies to manage stress in today’s competitive academic environment, thereby promoting mental well-being and healthy lifestyles.

                The session will be led by Dr. Soyuz John, Associate Professor of Psychiatric Social Work, Department of Psychiatry, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, under the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Udupi, Karnataka. With his vast expertise in mental health and psychosocial well-being, the resource person will offer valuable guidance and evidence-based approaches to stress management.

               The seminar will be held on 30 January 2026 (Friday) from 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM in online mode via MCC Library. Participation is free, and an e-certificate will be provided to all registered participants. The programme is open to UG and PG students, research scholars, faculty members, librarians, and other academicians.
