 leading biennial National Social Conference on Library & Information S
 cience (LIS) organized by India’s largest Corporate Information Reso
 urce Centre from Tata Consultancy Services.\r\nThis year, the 7th edit
 ion is scheduled on Saturday, 20th January 2024. The theme of SoFer
 ence is “Transformation of Libraries: Design Thinking Way”.\r\nLib
 raries are continuously evolving in the fast-paced technological milie
 u, making it increasingly imperative for Libraries to reimagine its co
 llection, services as well as infrastructure in the pursuit of alignin
 g with New Normal. Reimagining involves out-of-the-box thinking and d
 ecision-making which are pivoted tightly around library users. Design
  Thinking is a process applicable to all types of libraries interested
  in creating innovative services and solving problems iteratively.\r\n
 This year, in SoFerence, we will be conducting an in-person Design Thi
 nking workshop for Library Professionals, focusing on live library pro
 blems. The takeaway from this workshop would be a practical understand
 ing of the complete design thinking process with a tailormade roadmap 
 for transforming your libraries.\r\nRegistrations are invited for in-
 person SoFerence conducted at TCS Bangalore on Saturday, 20th Janu
 ary 2024.  A Pre-SoFerence online workshop will be held on Saturday
