DESCRIPTION:The Workshop is Sponsored by PM-UShA\r\nThe \"One Nation O
 ne Subscription\" (ONOS) project markedly enhances access to education
 al resources. Its characteristics and significance On 15 August 2022,
  the Prime Minister of India emphasized the significance of research a
 nd development in the nation during his address from the ramparts of t
 he Red Fort as part of the Amrit Kaal event. He had proclaimed the res
 ounding call of \"Jai Anusandhan\" on that occasion. The National Educ
 ation Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) indicates that research and innovation ar
 e essential for exceptional education and progress in our nation. The 
 Government of India has sanctioned the One Nation One Subscription sch
 eme as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat@2047 initiativ
 e. This scheme aims to grant nationwide access to international high-i
 mpact scholarly research articles and journal publications for student
 s, faculty, and researchers affiliated with all Higher Education Insti
 tutions governed by both central and state governments, as well as Res
 earch and Development Institutions under the central government.\r\nOn
 e Nation One Subscription provides access to online publications obtai
 ned via library consortia of government entities, consolidated on a si
 ngle platform for academic and research institutions, as well as throu
 gh individual subscriptions by various institutions and government uni
 versities. The government, educational, and research institutions are 
 subscribing to around 8,000 e-periodicals from various publishers, inc
 luding foreign and international journals. Additionally, several resou
 rces are subscribed to by multiple consortia and institutions across I
 ndia. ONOS enables consolidated access to scholarly e-resources and ma
 terial from 30 publishers. \r\nObjective of the Workshop\r\n \r\n\r\
 n\r\n      To establish ONOS as a flagship initiative ensuring e
 quitable access to global scholarly literature.\r\n\r\n\r\n     Â
  To raise awareness among academicians, researchers, librarians, and s
 tudents about ONOS resources.\r\n\r\n\r\n      To explore the ro
 le of ONOS in improving research quality, innovation, and academic exc
 ellence.\r\n\r\n\r\n      To provide training on effective utili
 zation of ONOS e-resources for teaching, learning, and research.\r\n\r
 \n\r\n     To discuss challenges and opportunities in the adoption 
 of ONOS, with focus on rural and semi-urban colleges\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe
